Greetings folks!
Well, little by little we are seeing more of you city members up at the farm. It sure is a beautiful time of the year for a visit and there are still plenty of projects that we could still use a hand with. So let us know if you're going to be up in our neighborhood.
Around here things are a bit like the old days....before we had apprentices. Dan's been working on bringing in the harvest by himself this week. Josh had a family emergency he had to go back to Michigan for and Chris is out with a bad back. Such is the nature of things.... you never know what is going to come up and just have to go with the flow. (Back injuries are bound to get even the most fit folks; we're well acquainted with the end of season back blow out.) It's been a bit of flash back for Dan today out there plugging away by himself. And now with Bea, I wasn't much help myself except for a short stint of bean picking. But of course he's pulled it off once again!
